Bobby Shmurda gives a lot to his community.

The New York rapper shows his appreciation for his freedom by encouraging young people in his community to stay focused on school. Bobby Shmurda, who is currently working on a new album, donated 2,000 backpacks full of school supplies yesterday, October 4, to students across New York.

The bags were all filled with much-needed supplies like pencils, pens, pencil cases, notebooks, shirts, highlighters and more. According to reports, the bags and supplies went to six New York City schools ranging from elementary to high school.

Schools included PS 268 Emma Lazarus, PS 219 Kennedy King and PS 92 Adrian Hegeman in Brooklyn; Eagle Academy for Young Men III in Queens; PS 76 A. Philip Randolph in Harlem; and Health Opportunities High School in the Bronx.

Shmurda tried to encourage the children to stay in school and stay out of trouble. In a video message to the students, he said, “Please don’t give your moms any trouble this year.”

He added that he was also talking about the way students treat teachers. Rapper “Hot N * gga” also told them that staying in school was courageous before encouraging them to take charge of their future.

“And please don’t give your teachers a problem this year. I mean I’m proud of you for your courage, strength, and persistence in school. Always remember that you are unstoppable. You can. do whatever you want, ”he continued.

This is not the first time that Shmurda has chosen to give back. Earlier this year in June, he hosted a special Father’s Day event for 200 underprivileged families at the Win Shelter in Brooklyn.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting his first full release since returning from prison in February. According to him, he’s almost done with the album. Over the weekend using Instagram, he told fans, “Wen yu is almost done mixing the album,” while showing off some newly acquired dance moves.
