Huntsville city schools cancel extracurricular activities as Tropical Storm Ida approaches

Schools in the city of Huntsville are canceling all extracurricular activities Monday due to the risk of inclement weather from Tropical Storm Ida.

After-school tutoring, athletics, extracurricular activities and campus events will not take place, the system said in a press release.

The buses will run on a regular schedule.

This has an impact on Monday. Decisions regarding Tuesday have yet to be made.
