Chicago students are scheduled to return to school on August 30.

Chicago Public Schools will require all students and teachers to wear masks indoors — every district in the state is now required to do so under Governor JB Pritzker’s executive order. Although the exact testing protocol for students and teachers is still being negotiated with the Chicago Teachers Union, the school district said Wednesday that it plans to offer weekly testing to all students, regardless of age. vaccination status.
