The Longhorn Leadership Camp for seventh graders will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on August 3 at Reading Junior High. Students will learn first day expectations, school procedures, student services, RJH clubs, dress code, library information and more. No registration is required. Drop-off and pick-up is at the main entrance.
Terry High School is hosting a Class of 2023 College Applicant Boot Camp on August 8, 10, and 12. There are three dates and six times to choose from. Bringing your laptop is encouraged if you have one.
FHS Falcon Fly-In for 12th graders will take place on August 9.

GRHS Welcome to the Ranch for 9th graders and new students will take place from 2 to 4 pm on August 10 at the GRHS Auditorium.
FHS Grade 9 and New Student Orientation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on August 11 at the FHS Auditorium.
The Terry High School Freshman “Fish” Camp will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on August 11 at BF Terry High School. There will be tours, team building, career course preview, meet an author, t-shirts, prizes, pizza, and fun. Register online.
Terry High School is hosting an evening for parents from 5 to 8 p.m. on August 11 in the auditorium.
Wertheimer’s “Sneak Peak” school year will take place from 5-8 p.m. on August 11 in the cafeteria at Wertheimer Middle School. Visit the school, pick up supplies if ordered, pick up pe uniforms and spirit clothes if ordered and more. Park in the back and enter through the cafeteria.
The Randle High School meeting for parents in grades 9-11 will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on August 12 at the Randle High School auditorium.
Schedule pickup for Randle HS students in grades 10-11 will take place from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on August 12 in the auditorium.
For all incoming freshmen, Randle High School is hosting a Cub PRIDE camp from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on August 12 in the Randle High School auditorium. Check-in begins at 8:15 a.m. Join us for a campus tour, photo ID, course overview, college and career information, spiritual clothing, food, fun and more. Lunch will be provided. Register online.
Lamar CISD will be hosting a back-to-school party from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, August 13 at Traylor Stadium. Carter Elementary School Teacher Meet and Greet will be from 3-4 p.m. for Kindergarten and Kindergarten students, and 4-5:30 p.m. for Grades 1-5 students on August 15th.
The Seguin Early Childhood Center Parent Orientation and Title 1 Information Meeting will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. on Monday, August 15.
Adolphus Elementary’s Meet the Teacher event will take place from 5-7 p.m. on August 16.
Meet the Teacher at Beasley Elementary will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16.
Bentley Elementary’s Meet the Teacher will take place from 5-7:15 p.m. on August 16.
Kindergarten/SLC Orientation for Bowie Elementary School will be held from 4-5 p.m. on August 16.
The meeting with the Bowie Elementary teacher for grades one through five will be from 4 to 5 p.m. on August 17.

The meet and greet teacher at Lamar CISD’s Seguin Early Childhood Center will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on August 18 as a back-and-forth style event.
Austin Elementary New Student Orientation will begin at 1 p.m. for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and new students in Austin on August 19.
Meet the Teacher will take place from 2-4 p.m. on August 19 at Austin Elementary.
All LICSD schools are back in session on August 22.
Foster High School’s Senior Sunrise will be held on Friday, August 26 at Foster’s football field.
The Carter Elementary Parent Orientation will take place from 4-6 p.m. on September 1.
The program night for pre-K, kindergarten, first grade and second grade will take place on September 6 at Austin Elementary.
Bowie Elementary’s Title 1 briefing will be from 5-5:30 p.m. on September 8.
Bowie Elementary’s Curriculum Night will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on September 8.
Curriculum Night for third through fifth graders will be held Sept. 8 at Austin Elementary.
The Seguin Early Childhood Center Open House will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on September 14.
Bentley Elementary Curriculum Nights will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on September 28 and 29.
